Airframe
Sounds Aero Maintenance has experience in providing a wide range of airframe services, including scheduled maintenance, defect rectification, import C of A inspection, airframe rebuild and modification.
We hold a CAA Part 145 Maintenance Organisation certificate, as well as a Part 19F Supply Organisation certificate. Our team of experienced engineers focus on maintaining a high standard of workmanship and customer service.
Turboprop Aircraft
We have extensive experience on turboprop aircraft, including Cessna Caravan, Air Tractor, and Pilatus PC12 models. We can carry out all inspections, including heavy maintenance and SID inspections (including C208 wing removal and undercarriage removal/inspection).
Propeller Dynamic Balancing
Excessive vibration is often the cause of many defects including cracking, metal fatigue and loose fittings. Out of balance propellers are very often the cause of aircraft vibration. Many engine TBO escalation programs require regular vibration checking, so it is wise to keep all propellers vibration free. We have many years experience using the Dynamic Solutions Systems (DSS) MicroVib II Aircraft Analyzer. This is the latest technology in dynamic propeller balancing and engine vibration analysis. The system simplifies the traditionally complicated task of balancing propellers, and provides a cost effective way to keep your aircraft vibration free.
GA Aircraft
We maintain a fleet of over 50 GA aircraft, and have many years experience on most aircraft types, including C180/185, C206, GA8, GA200, FU24, R22, R44, DHC-2, PA38-112, AT-402, GA8.
